(or ‘Celebration of Life’)
I feel especially honoured when families adopt me as their family celebrant to take care of all the ceremonies in their lives.
One of the highest privileges one can accept is to be asked to help someone during their time of grief, and my aim is to create and conduct a ceremony that is an appropriate tribute to your loved one and, at the same time, help you in some small way to manage a very difficult and distressing time in your life.
Ray E. Moody said “The greatest thing one person can do for another is to listen”.
My enthusiasm for what motivates people gives me an inherent desire to listen to people and find out their wishes. My ability to translate that into a memorable experience is essential for a ceremony to celebrate someone’s life.
One of the major challenges of this role is to ensure that the day is as stress-free as possible under such trying circumstances and that you, and also every person at the ceremony, feels that they were touched by the meaningful experience on the day.
"Thank you for the wonderful heartfelt ceremony that you did for our darling Mother. It was as if Mum was one of your own."− Muriel Guidot and Family
